The Cariboo Cougars held their 6th Annual Jameson Jones Fundraiser on Saturday night!
This effort is to provide support for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. The game is usually free to those in attendance, but they were asking for attendance by donation. The attractions to the game were the Prince George Cougars mascot Rowdy Cat, the fanboni and face painting at the arena.
Of course all the fun stuff is what makes for fun times and great pictures, but the best part of all is the great effort being out forth by the city of Prince George. Any child that has had to go to Children’s Hospital for any sort of treatment was allowed on the ice for the ceremonial puck drop!
The Cougars gave the crowd a great show for the fans as they were able to continue their hot streak by winning their seventh straight league game. The real winners on this night was the Children’s Hospital as the fans in attendance were able to raise 0ver $1,700 on the night!
