I’m no amazing golfer, I really just do it for fun and today was SO MUCH FUN.
We had the perfect weather for the Airport Authorities 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Alder Hills. Blue skies, not too hot and a little breeze. It was a shotgun start at 11am and every hole had 1-2 teams on it for the kick off. Our game went by really fast but at hole #3 we took a quick break to take part in a “throw the ball and bounce it off the net” game to win chances at entering for a flight to Victoria thanks to Pacific Coastal Airlines.
Once the golf was all over we headed back down and took a look at all the silent auction items (and there were a ton). Today was such a great day with awesome company it didn’t even matter that I sucked! Big thank you to Alder Hills, Airport Authorities and my team mates Darren the Drives DJ, Andy our Engineer, and Ethan Andy’s son!
Today was to raise money for Hope Air so we are able to get those who need health care to where they need to go and if people started out bidding me on the auction items I think they should come up with quite a good amount today!
