So many things happening today! My morning started off at the PG Farmer’s Market on 6th and George Street just out front city hall for ZUMBA! Over a hundred people participated in the latin-inspired dance cardio workout, and boy did I sweat! I always forget how tired zumba makes me, but it’s so rewarding and so FUN! I headed over to the market after to get some locally made kombucha to quench my thirst, and then partook in the Canada Games 50th flag Relay! A special addition flag has travelled allllll the way across the country, here to Prince George! why you ask? Because PG was the last city to host the Canada Games, so it seemed fitting to celebrate its final lag here! After listening to some live music and checking out all the food vendors I went over to the Prince George Play House to check out Judy Russel’s production of Anne of Green Gables! The last show is tomorrow at 7pm, and you can even participate in a look-a-like contest to win awesome prizes!
If you’re looking for something fun to do tonight, the drive in movie theatre is featuring Cars 3 and the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and BOB DYLAN is in town! For one medium-sized town, we sure do have a lot going on!
I still have a bunch of ten day punch passes for the Northern Sports Centre. I’ve been getting lots of questions about if they work with the gyms etc. being used to hold evacuees. Currently, the facilities aren’t utilizable, however, the passes are good till August 31st, so you have tons of time to enjoy a great workout.
Enjoy your weekend!
Your Funchaser, Levi.
