The 2016 Show N Shine had so much for the classic car lovers to get lost in.
From vintage vehicles, to the souped up semis, along with sweet hogs, they had it all!
This was my first year taking part in the Show N’ Shine and was pleasantly surprised with the whole scheme of the event. More than enough vehicles to get lost in, local vendors giving away all kinds of swag, food vendors, as well as tonnes of giveaways, including a motorcycle from the World Baseball Challenge!
The Prince George Regional Highway Rescue team put on a great spectacle for the crowd on hand. The team demonstrated the jaws of life to save people in a vehicle who, for whatever reason, can not escape freely in emergency. It was interested to see the car, donated by Northland Dodge, get so precisely pieced apart by the use of this machinery.
As the FunChaser, I get to drive my yellow Dodge Durango everyday, but it is not everyday that it is seen around other yellow cars. Well, the Show N’ Shine was not one of those days. I thought it would be a great idea to get a picture with every yellow car on display, so I did exactly that.
LOOK AT ALL THAT YELLOW!
The Father’s Day Show N’ Shine was a great family event because not only do the dad’s, grandfather’s, and older members of the family get to enjoy the cars and tradition of the event, but the annual car show creates memories for younger generations to carry on as well!
