The summer is a crazy time for those of us in media, and I’m not exception. I love what I do though, so that helps when times get hectic. Today, I started off at the Mind, Heart, Body and Soul Festival at Art Space on top of Books and Company. This was their first go at the festival, and there was a wide verity of vendors from the purest of essential oils, to palm readings. I had my aura read and it was a little bit unnerving to hear what the reader had to say, because it was so true! Next, I headed up to collage heights to help out the Prince George Judo Club with their fundraiser! Today they were selling hotdogs, and for just five bucks you could get a hotdog, chips and a drink! What a bargain, and what a great cause! After snapping some pics, I made my way to Wood Wheaton Honda where the band kids from PGSS were having a fundraiser car wash to help them get to Disneyland. Now, I’m off to Aberdeen Golf Course for the annual Prince George Airport Authority golf tournament. The tourney raises money for Hope Air, an organization that helps those traveling for health care get to their destination, even if they can’t afford it. Since it’s such a beautiful day, I look forward to getting out there and seeing what these golfers have to offer! Make sure to stay tuned on social media for images of the event!
Tomorrow is another crazy day with things like the Walk for ALS, the Diabetes Walk, Ride Don’t Hide and Test Drive a Ford. My legs are going to be tired from running around!
Your Funchaser,
