Hi its Ana ,
Today I got to chase the Fun by myself! This was super exciting for me as I was able to get out of my comfort zone and explore the events in Prince George. I went to the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park to join in on the walk for MS. MS stands for Multiple Sclerosis and fun fact here, Canada has the highest rate of MS in the word. MS is currently classified as an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord). Although this is a nasty disease everyone affected by MS, may that be personally or by a friend, were so positive and uplifting today at the park. Prince George has an awesome community and the amount of love and joy that everyone spreads for one another is unbelievable. There was a live DJ at the event and he was mixing it up ! It was such a fun and positive atmosphere while everyone walked for MS. Later there was a talented artist who played acoustic music and was able to help relax and sooth the energy. There was thirteen vendors and each one was donating profits they made to MS, such a generous community we have.
I later met up with Levi and we went to the Bike to school week kick off at the exploration place and I was amazed by the venders there! One lady made jewelry out of scrape bike metal… what a way to reuse !
The weather was so beautiful today as it was plus 26 but Levi and I sure felt the heat… in fact I got a tad sunburn and by a tad I mean i’m going to bath in Aloe Vera…
I hope you got to enjoy the sun today and the events out in the community. Always stay posted to our Facebook and Instagram page to see where we will be next and come join us !
