Well today was one of my most interesting days to date. I was running off of one hour of sleep due to participating in the relay for life. In fact my day actually started yesterday , Saturday May 13, where I was at the relay for life from 9am all the way until 4:30 AM the NEXT DAY ! I have to give a huge shout out to the people who walked the whole 24 hours because I walked from 11pm to 4:30 AM with no breaks and I was exhausted by the end of it. I honestly don’t know how they walk the whole 24 hours without stopping but I am going to make it my goal for next year to do the full 24 hour walk! Levi and I also got to partake in a crazy workout session at the relay for life, and by the end of the 15 minutes I desperately needed my inhaler…. I’m also making it a goal of mine to improve my cardio. Without a doubt the relay for life touched my heart and I feel so proud of everyone in the Prince George community. We raised over 530 thousand dollars and the fundraiser doesn’t end until august so that number is still growing. By the time I made it home Sunday morning at 5am I was able to get a one hour power nap only to go back to the relay for life. This was the first relay for life that Levi and I have ever been to and I must say I’m still in awe from not only Janet’s speech that made me bawl my eyes out , but from being in a atmosphere of people who are fighting cancer, beat cancer, or even there to walk in memory of the loved ones lost from cancer and still show there beautiful smiles and are so so positive.
Hey, it’s Levi here! The Relay For Life was a roller coaster ride of emotions. Then, our sleep deprivation also made it difficult to hold back tears. So naturally, we headed over to the BCNE Spring Carnival to see what all the hype was about. In our exhausted state we rode all the spiny rides, and documented most of them. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate, as we were constantly pelted with rain drops. No matter what happens at carnivals though, there is always mini doughnuts, meaning it will ALWAYS be a great time. This weekend has certainly been a mix of feelings, from crying and hugging, so screaming and laughing, I think it’s safe to say we’ve covered every emotion. Now to unload the car, go take down some banners and then finally go to sleep.
PS. Don’t forget to do something special for your mama today.

Levi and Ana
