Are you loving this weather as much as I am? There’s something about a bright blue sky that just makes me want to leap out of bed and chase after some fun! This was a busy one for me, but boy do I look forward to my weekends when I get out in the community and find out what you’re all up to.
On Saturday I started my day off at the local farmers market behind the Keg on 6th and had some awesome conversation with some vendors. I tried North Roast coffee for the first time, I totally understand why it’s such a hit now! I also picked up some Kombucha for my own fridge. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love shopping locally. I love knowing that my hard earned cash goes towards people in my community, and helps them to produce wonderful hand-made products that are jam packed full of love. After the market, I headed over to an Aboriginal Artisan Fair on Victoria Street. There was some amazing beading being done, some live drumming and beautifully handcrafted jewelry. They are hoping to make this event an annual one, so make sure you pass along any positive comments and constructive criticism if you also attended. After my outings, I headed back to the office where I worked on some production and made sure everything I produce that airs on the radio sounded snazzy.
Today was an early start. I did the cut banks! Yup, straight up, without the rope or anything! What a view from up there. My quads are a little sore, and I definitely have some work to do on my cardio. But all in all, I had a great time! The rest of my day was spent at the Antique Show at the Roll-a-Dome. So many great finds! They had everything from tea cups, collectible coins and cowboy boots to old novels, jewelry and mason jars. I personally love antiques because they all have a story, and this event was right up my ally!
Another weekend has come and gone, and next weekend will be Easter! I’ll be spending some time with my family, what will you be up to?
Sincerely,
Your FunChaser
