The Canadian Home Builder’s Association of Northern BC held the first event of it’s kind for the Parade of Homes!
This gave you a great idea of what is being done in homes around Prince George in terms of renovations and new homes.
There was nine different homes including in the parade, and the houses touched every corner of the city. The nice part about the parade is that the CHBA scheduled a shuttle to take people out to each and every single home, COMPLETELY free of admission!
One of the houses that was included was a home you could win! That house was the Hospice Dream Home at 7630 Creekside Way, a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 floor house, worth over 500 thousand dollars, and it could be all yours with the purchase of a ticket for just $100.
Juliette was on location for The River and The Drive and we had a crazy amount of traffic come through the lead home at 2930 Vista Ridge Drive, we couldn’t believe how busy the day was for the Parade! We ran out of ballots for our Cariboo Prize Pack giveaway, we ran out of prizing to give away which included Spruce Kings tickets, UNBC Timberwolves tickets, Mr. Quick Lube & Oil certificates, as well as station stickers and key chains!
Not only did we have those giveaways but also Shaw had prize packs they were giving away, Emco was giving away a prize pack as well that included something that I REALLY wanted which was a bluetooth shower head, and the Canadian Home Builder’s Association was also giving away a beautiful furniture set that included two couches and a table!
I hope if you went to the Parade of Homes it gave you a vast array of knowledge and broadened your thoughts on what to do during your next renovation or what you desire in a new home!
