The CN Centre parking lot played host to the annual Junk in the Trunk event held by R.E.A.P.S. and the Regional District of Fraser Fort George.
This was the classic case of the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Vendors paid $10 to pull up and sell their goods out of the back of their car, hence the title of the event. There were items such as clothes, DVD’s, snow equipment, children’s toys, just to name a few of the items on display.
I saw people walking out with handfuls of stuff to make use of that the vendor no longer had a need for. My roommate also came home with a storage unit for just $5!
The vendors had the option of sending the remainder of their goods to Aim-Hi to support their organization!
