Masich Place Stadium saw a large number of participants take action towards raising money for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind!
It was the second year that CNIB Night Steps was held here in Prince George!
There are different types of vision impaired problems, worst case scenario going completely blind, I spoke with a nice woman who had an unusual problem as she only had a few spots she could see through in her eye as her vision was gone in her peripherals and the centre of her eye. There are many problems that are faced with people who face vision imparities and that includes day to day help from people around them as they are not able to take on daily tasks alone.
It’s instances like those that require the financial aid from CNIB in the case that there isn’t someone available for guidance. The team of people were very excited to take on the second annual walk. Each participant received a glow stick to light up the night, and some teams came prepared in costume, like the vision warriors!
Every single person at this event was smiling, happy, and energetically excited to take on the night!
