This weekend saw the annual Prince George Airport Authority Charity Golf Tournament Held at Alder Hills Golf Course.
The golfers couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day to play. There was plenty for the golfers to do on and off the course. These activities included the usual closest to the pin contest, as well as a designated hole in one attempt. The extra curricular activities included a putting contest, silent auction items, as well as a dinner.
With this being a charity golf tournament, things aren’t as serious as they would be during a regular tournament. One team of ladies showed up in adorable outfits which involved pink sunglasses, pink and white long socks, and a white tanktop with flamingoes ALL OVER. This team even had an extremely quirky name, the fairway flamingoes!
For the keen golfers, this was an amazing day on the course just to golf, but it always feel even better when you are doing so to support a great cause.
Money raised from the event is going towards Hope Air which is a charity that provides travel for those who need it for medical purposes. Prince George to Vancouver is the SECOND busiest route in all of the nation, so the locals need your help!
