This past Wednesday was the annual UNBC Timberwolves Golf Tournament in support of the Timberwolf athletes.
Not only did the golfers get to enjoy the beautiful course that is Aberdeen Glen, but the weather was absolutely perfect!
The day started with the very funny caddy auction hosted by Rich Abney. The money raised for the caddy auction, and any other fundraising items go straight to the athletic programs at UNBC.
Here is a video of some of the athletes talents off the field.
After the pre golf festivities were over, it was time to hit the links. Everyone took to their cart in their groups and their athlete caddy’s if purchased and headed of to their holes.
There were a few holes with vendors either sampling their product or giving away prizes. That included The Keg Steakhouse and Bar as well as Pacific Western Brewing. Steak and a beverage, can’t go wrong with that combination.
As for myself I was manning hole number one. I had station logo’d golf balls to give away, as well as a chance to win a gift certificate to The Keg!
Good, bad, ugly, no matter what type of swing you had it was guaranteed a good time for a good cause!
There was also a fantastic dinner afterwards that included silent auction items, with proceeds going straight to the T-Wolves!
