The weather was fantastic for the Individual Biathlon, out at Otway. The Sun was beautiful, so beautiful that they got ahead of schedule! Unfortunately I missed the ending of the Biathlon but lots of volunteers and athletes where happy to tell me all about the sport. As they eagerly awaited the results of the day. It was so tight that it took much longer then usual to sort everything out. Sheldon Clare who was the official man to talk to at the event was happy to introduce me to Teo SanChez of Team Quebec. He informed me about their method of shooting and the ammunition that is preferred by athletes. Teo was quite happy with his performance as well he finished with a Bronze Medal for the 15 km Individual Male . Teo, is the only anglophone on his team, as he was homeschooled all his life, until now. As he has enrolled in University courses at Athabasca University . Teo will go very far, but for more information on how the races went, the men’s scores are here, and the women’s are located here
