It’s time to grab your girlfriends and head out to Inspiring Women Among Us (IWAU) a week long event aimed at empowering the lovely women in our community!
Starting on November 14th and running until the 21st you’ll be able to participate in various events that strive to build women up!
This year’s theme is Women, Leadership and Power and while the events do target women, all genders are welcome!

November 14: Opening ceremony at 10am; UNBC Wintergarden Marissa Janae Johnson’s Keynote: Thinking Outside The Box: Revolution By Any Means Necessary at 12 noon.

November 21: IWAU Comes to a close by acknowledging Canada’s National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women at 11:00am at UNBC Winter Garden
