I love long drives!
It’s been a while since I last sat in a car and drove alone for half an hour…let alone an hour and 11 minutes!!
The drive to the Ancient Forest Provincial Park Celebration was an amazing drive! I played my tunes and was able to experience more of the greenery that BC has to offer!
One of the things I love about my move up here is that everything that I do, it’s usually my first time doing it!–so it makes everything 10 times more fun!

I was not dressed appropriately for this at all…my toes were numb from the cold, my fingers felt like they were going
to snap off because they were so frozen and my nose was bright red like Rudolph’s…PG it’s technically still summer,
what’s going on?!—I’m not ready for overnight climate change like that…
Regardless, this is a BEAUTIFUL Provincial Park!
You really get the chance to take in the beauty of the Province, through the deep green pines, the towering cedars, and the creeks brimming full of ice cold water.
This seems like the perfect place for a run on a summer morning!
I am happy to report that I met a lot of extremely friendly people at this event! ( I love friendly people, you make my job THAT much better!)
There was live music, AMAZING art, delicious smelling food and Gandalf—who was walking through the forest ready to take pictures with kids!
I really can’t say enough good things about this park, my jaw dropped at its natural beauty (it didn’t actually drop cause I was busy chattering my teeth.)
I can’t wait to explore this park further!
