I dressed way too warm for today the sun really did come out!
I had trouble finding a place to park the Funchaser Jeep today at the Roll-A-Dome because it was PACKED for the Antique Fair! They had both roller rinks inside filled up with the fair and also the market booths. It was amazing what some of these people had from back in the day I couldn’t get enough of it.
I have to admit I got a little lost today looking for the Columbus Hall but once I found it I guess I had just missed the big rush of people at the Hunting and Fishing gear swap! They sold so much from the moment they opened up this morning at 8:30! It was entrance by donation and a raffle prize worth $300 and the money goes towards BC Ride to Conquer Cancer. The organizer told me they already have so many more people interested in next year that they will have to get a bigger room to do it in so stay tooned and don’t miss it!
It was the PERFECT day for an outdoor BBQ in honour of the volunteers that have helped out at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club this past year and they had a great turn out. But who wouldn’t want to come up to the Ski Club for food, drink and prizes in the warm sun on a Sunday??
My last stop of the day was at the Prince George Public Library to see the documentary “Planet of the Snail.” It was drop in as you please and I had a few SunRype snacks to give out to eat while you watch! The Public Library always has fun things going on so be sure to check out their website at pgpl.ca for more events.
See you all soon, enjoy this incoming weather!!
