Toady turned into a lovely day after starting out pretty cold! As spring is approaching it’s time to start gardening! So I headed over just above Books and Company to the Art Space and joined in on the 100 Foot Diet where plenty of knowledgeable speakers gave great advice on growing fresh food in your backyard!
I am guilty of not knowing a ton about my families history so anyone like me hopefully stopped by the St. Giles Presbyterian Church to do the Genea-Bee! Experts were there to help you learn more about yourself and your family!
I was blown away by some young minds today at Pine Centre Mall and the Popsicle Bridge Building Contest! A big crowd today as they tested each bridge to see whose could hold the most weight!
Now I heard about this event awhile back and I was actually so excited for it because I love ping pong (although I’m not very good). There was a Ping Pong tournament at Kelly Roads School! They had a great set up and a good turn out and will be going again tomorrow with all ages and new comers welcome!
My last stop was a cool one. I was at the Prince George Playhouse for “Goin’ to the Moon” a show to introduce young kids to the instruments in an orchestra! Such a neat idea and so much fun they put on a great show!
See you tomorrow!
