I don’t think I’m the only one when I say I think today felt like the first day of Spring, it was BEAUTIFUL outside! I started my lovely Sunday at the upstairs of Books and Company where they are getting ready to put on the show “The Lipitones”. The performance is about a misunderstanding, surprises and a pitch perfect comedy with showings at 2pm and 8pm on Sundays!
I was hit with a smell of the old days today when I walked into the pool. I used to spend all my time inside pools when I was a competitive swimmer and I’ve missed it! Swimming is always a great physical activity to take part in, it’s cheap and its fun! It was busy at the Aquatic Centre today so I hope lots of people came out and jumped in!
Today was my second time back inside of Vanier Hall watching the 2018 Dance Festival and each time I have a hard time leaving! Amazing performers continuously take the stage and today was variety and classic ballet solos that were contagious to watch. If you missed it this weekend don’t worry it’s still happening every day form 8:30 am until 9:30 pm until March 23rd.
The Hart isn’t a place I have been out to much but this was my second time and it’s really not that far away I’m realizing! I went out to check out their Public Skating at Elksentre Arena and I think a lot of other people had the same idea since it is coming to the end of the skating season! Still a few more weekends left so be sure to stop by between 2-3:30 pm on Sundays for a skate!
This weather has me excited for it to get warm and all the events that come with that!
Until next weekend, Olivia The Funchaser xo
