Happy St.Patrick’s Day!!
Today I started my day at the 2018 Prince George Dance Festival to help them celebrate their 42nd year as being part of this community. I was there during the cultural specific solo and pair dances and got to see some very strong talented performers. If you missed out today it’s still happening every day until March 23rd from 8:30 am until 9:30 at night!
I then headed to UNBC to catch a sneak peek of the set for “Into The Woods” that was being performed twice today at 1pm and again at 7pm! It’s a play about old fairy tales coming together including red riding hood, Cinderella and more! You can check out the website centralinteriortickets.com for more show times!
Caledonia Nordic Ski Club was celebrating St.Patrick’s Day right with Crossroads Brewing! So I headed up to the hill to check out their poker themed Brew-Ski. You would follow a map and ski to find each table and at each table was different beer samples and they would each give you a card until you had a full hand. Then you ski to the bottom and see if you have the winning hand! It was a ton of fun and a great way to spend the day celebrating!
I for one think the weekends are the perfect time to do shopping and what makes it even better is when it’s themed!! Today I was at the Northwood Plaza shops and they had deals, door prizes and some serious St.Patrick’s Day decoration going on! I talked to some lovely people working up their and it sure put a smile on my face.
I will finish off this fun day at the Spruce Kings game tonight, it’s the first game of ROUND 2 of the playoffs against the Eagles! Join us for some games after the first intermission and come down to say hello to me!
With love,
Olivia The Funchaser xo
