Friday night was my last Spruce Kings game and what a unreal game it was! The game was almost sold out as the Prince George Spruce Kings won 3-2 against the Chilliwack Chiefs. The fans filled up the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena and were cheering loud and proud for our local boys. The Spruce Kings are in first place right now in the Junior A hockey league and their games are as exciting as ever. The boys battle hard in every game giving a strong delivery and beating their opponents. Although this was the last game I got the pleasure of working, does not mean its my last game as a fan 🙂
Saturday started bright and early as I headed over to our local Prince George Farmers Market. The farmers market is located on 6th Avenue in the green building right behind the Keg Restaurant and is open every weekend from 830am to 2pm. I tend to go to the farmers market quite often but that’s only because it is the best organic food that I have yet to find! There is constantly new local vendors arriving with goods and great gift ideas! Today there was fresh farmed goods as well as warm hand knitted toques and gloves which were the softest pieces of clothing I have ever felt!
Sunday I headed on over to the Spruce Kings Show Home! This was probably my 20th visit but I just can’t get over how gorgeous the home is. The home is located on 2643 Links Drive incase you want to stop by and take a look 🙂
This was also my last weekend Funchasing and I wanted to thank EVERYONE in the community for making my weekends truly amazing! 🙂
