Another quiet day in PG. I think that after all the St. Paddy’s day shenanigans, people were more into sleeping in than heading out again. For those of you who went out, I hope you had a wonderful and safe time! I went headed out to the Black Clover with some friends and enjoyed the live music that they were featuring. They also had live bagpipes, and although they are Scottish, not Irish, they were very well played and really got the party bumpin’.
This morning I headed over to the Farmers Market on 6th street, just behind the Keg. They had some wonderful vendors that included jams, gourmet popcorn, leather goods and even an entire line of natural skin care! I personally love farmers markets and used to not only go to them when I was younger, but also worked them with my Grandma. Talk about a trip down memory lane. If you’re every looking to support local businesses, this is a great place to start.
I then headed over to the North Nechako area to a photography showing. ES Wildlife Photo Images were featuring their beautiful images at Parkhill Centre. My mum is a photographer, so needless to say, I have quite a soft spot for people who love to use a camera. I had a wonderful time looking at all the photos and learning some of the crazy stories behind them. The photographer truly embodies the term “Do anything for the shot!”
Then as usual, back to the office to wrap things up. Tomorrow I’m at the Roll-A-Dome for the small business fair! I hope to see you there too.
