Hello wonderful people!
First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you who has approached me to introduce yourself to me! I have never felt more welcomed anywhere in my life! Seriously, how wonderful it is to be here.
This has been a busy week for me. Ana and I went to the Sprucekings game on Thursday, then last night we headed up to UNBC to watch the junior women’s Timberwolves basketball game and tonight we’re off to the senior game! We have been giving away some goodie bags with awesome prizes so if you haven’t come out to a game yet, I suggest you do tonight and play a game with us at half time for your chance to win. Also this week we went to the UNBC Legacy Breakfast which was one early start to the day but well worth it with an amazing speech given by Theo Fleury.
Today was a sweet day. I went out to the Roll-A-Dome to watch/video some soccer games organized for Black History Month. Such an amazing atmosphere it was in there with a great group of man and women playing their hearts out. I will be making short video edit with some of the highlights in the next day or so, so stay tuned on Facebook and Instagram. Big thanks to George for helping me organize some group photos with the team.
Now I’m putting together some fabulous treats for the winners of the Love Has Wings contest on 101.3 The River, and then I’m off to UNBC again! Busy, busy, busy! Stay tuned on social media for updates of the game and other fun stuff. I’ll update this post after the game with more details and photos. Until then, keep partying and make sure you drive safe in all that snow!!!
