Today the Catholic Women’s League held their annual craft fair at Sacred Heart School!
The fair included local artisans selling their goods in preparation for the Christmas season. From items like children’s stuffed animals, baked goods, to jewelry, there was plenty to browse through!
The ladies from CWL had a concession going and they had an assortment of delicious grub! Mike Austin from 99.3 The Drive swung by to get his hot dog with onions (he made sure to throw in a piece of gum so you couldn’t smell his breath through the air waves). They were also slaving away making fresh baked cookies. I snarfed down a bag of them, devouring the ginger spice, chocolate chip, and my favourite, peanut butter cookies! They were also serving savoury soup alongside a fresh baked bun!
The funds raised from this weekends craft fair will be going towards the Sacred Heart School bursary through the women’s group!
