The annual Northern Students Give Back Festival was held at the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park this year, and they were raising funds to go towards Aim-Hi right here in Prince George!
Throughout the day the students held a BBQ, and were selling popcorn to raise funds. As every year there were many clubs on hand to support this event. Those clubs included the EESA Club as they were showing off their catapulting skills, as well as the outdoor club, the ever popular quidditch club, and the instrumental club put on a show for everyone at the park! As I was venturing throughout the park, different clubs took to the stage as the fencing club put on a show, as well as the improv club as they had the park laughing in unison!
The festival as I have been told is sometimes held sporadically around town, but this year the decided to do it in one neutral area, and it seemed to have worked well for them and all of course for a great cause!
