The Festival of Trees is reaching its final days!
That means that if you are really eager to be the winning bid on a specific tree, you’re going to want to stop in one more time to outbid everyone else.
That also means that if you want a chance of winning and haven’t gone, it is your last chance to check out everything the Festival of Trees has to offer.
I was able to check out the Children’s Workshop where families could go and decorate their own stocking, put ornaments on their very own mini tree, great for decoration in one’s room, and also make gingerbread men. With the work that was being done by the kids, I think they should have renamed the Children’s Workshop to Santa’s Little Elves.
I also took the time to fill out my own ballot to vote for my favourite tree, wreath, and mini tree. I’m not going to say who I voted for, but I am going to say that I am a big fan of our Best Buy This Pattison Tree. mainly because of the 55 inch Samsung Smart TV! It was quite funny actually, the TV isn’t playing any show in particular, but the images and small videos going across the screen grabbed the attention of a group of kids, they even sat down and enjoyed the TV for themselves for a few minutes. I just hope their parents got the hint.
My favourite part about the Festival of Trees is that there are many displays with mirrored trees, and what they do is donate that second tree to a family in need. Very good idea brought forward by the team behind the Festival of Trees.
