Cancer is a disease that no one likes, and that is why Prince George does the 24 Hour Relay. Its a lot more complicated then that, when you factor in the loved ones, that battle against it. They do this every day when they hear the dreaded words that they indeed have cancer. It takes a toll on their loved ones as well, whether they be caretakers, family members or just a coworker. That is why everyone walks, and they make it fun too. This year I helped to set up on Friday, which was a great energy as the worker bees made everything perfect. Then bright and early Saturday morning I arrived dressed as Mary Poppins (Northern FanCon) and had a blast as the survivors did their lap. It was a great sight too see. Doug Jones was Mcing, along with a bunch of other CKPG employees who kept the party going through all 24 hours. We raised an amazing amount of 468,233 this year! Which is fantastic, and wonderful!
