With Fort George Park recently being renamed to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, National Aboriginal Day was a great way to learn about the culture and heritage behind not only Lheidli T’enneh, but other aboriginal groups as well. There was a big turn out for the festivities and there were energetic dancers on stage who kept the crowd pumped and wowed with their traditional dance and their regalia as well. With great food, and the ability to learn so much in one area, it was a great place to take the family. For more information on the Lheidli T’enneh go their website here.
